Ali Korkmaz
Ali Korkmaz is a member of the research analyst team at the Center for Postsecondary Research. He got his Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology in the School of Education at Indiana University. He earned his M.S. in Science Education and his B.S. in Mathematics Education from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey. Ali worked for IU Cisco Networking Academy Evaluation Project for 3 years before joining to the NSSE.
In his dissertation study, he built and tested a model of student engagement and success for high school and college students. In addition to assessing and evaluating student engagement and learning, his areas of interests include impact of different learning environments on student success and teaching and learning strategies.
