Tiffani Butler

Tiffani Butler serves as a client services project associate for NSSE Team One (institutions A – E), working 20 hours a week.

Educational & Professional Background:
Tiffani Butler is a PhD student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs program. She taught college English and Student Success courses for seven years; before that she was a technical writer/writing consultant in client services. She has a Masters in Writing (with a concentration in Technical Writing and Theory & Pedagogy) from DePaul University in Chicago, IL, and a Bachelor’s in both English Literature & Art History from Lake Forest College.

Research Interests
Her research interests include first year college experience and access, particularly as it relates to high school-to-college transition and community college-to-four-year institution transition, as well as full-time and part-time faculty concerns.
