Eddie R. Cole
Born in Boligee, Alabama, Eddie is a graduate of Tennessee State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication: journalism. He later earned his master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Indiana University, where Eddie served as co-editor of the Journal of the Indiana University Student Personnel Association.
He also co-lectured the “Foundations of Fitness and Wellness” course during his tenure as a graduate supervisor in Briscoe Residence Center, as well as served as a research assistant to the director of the Indiana Memorial Union for an initiative to recruit and retain more students of color to the Union Board.
Eddie is currently a first-year doctoral student at Indiana University in Higher Education and Student Affairs.
Job Responsibilities
Project Associate for NSSE. Works with clients (institutions Univ. of B – Z) in administering the NSSE survey.
Research Interests
College access, recruitment and retention; Leadership development; Media influence on college perception.
