Kevin Guidry
Kevin is a full-time PhD student in Indiana University's Higher Education and Student Affairs program. Immediately before coming to IU, he was an Information Technology Fellow at Sewanee: The University
of the South. His primary interests lie in the areas where student affairs and technology intersect. Thus far, this interest has primarily been concentrated in the area of residential computer networks ("ResNet") as reflected by his previous employment supervising a ResNet program and current membership in the ResNet Applied Research Group. He represents NASPA Region IV-E in the NASPA Technology Knowledge Community, an organization he chaired for nearly three years.
Job Responsibilities
Kevin works in the Center for Postsecondary Research as a Research Project Associate.
Research Interests
His research interests focus largely on those areas where student development theory and student affairs sensibilities can inform how we understand and support students' use of technology. Previous research projects have included a multi-institutional survey focusing on online entertainment services and other projects related to college and university residential computer networks.
