Tom Nelson Laird

Tom Nelson Laird is FSSE Project Manager and an assistant professor in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program. As a member of staff at the Center for Postsecondary Research (CPR), he is responsible for the management of the operations of the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE) as well as conducting research that utilizes student and faculty data sets housed within the Center. He earned his Ph.D. in Higher Education from the University of Michigan. Tom's research examines issues related to diversity experiences, curricular experiences, and student learning and development.
